Five things Daniel did to make Sam stop chasing Jack
1. he explained very scientifically, with charts and graphs, why they weren't suited for each other.
2. he arranged "accidental" meetings with every nice single guy he knew that didn't work for the military.
3. he told her ancient stories from several cultures about how someone waiting for something they could never have misses several things that they could.
4. he touched some artifact on some planet and they got sent to an alternate universe.
5. he asked her out.
