Five things that go wrong on an average day at the SGC
they always run out of something. copy paper, blue jello & band aids top the list.
someone gets hurt in a, usually preventable, accident. slipping on a wet floor or over doing a workout.
things get misplaced. usually important stuff like a report that a department head wants yesterday.
stuff breaks. and it takes 10-12 weeks to get a replacement. after filling out the request in triplicate.
the laundry ruins or loses some article of clothing. often right before an important meeting.

Five things Jack told himself in order to stay sane
it could be worse. he wasn't sure how, but it could be worse.
jack reminded himself that millions of people on hundreds of worlds went though things every day that break a lesser person.
it would be over soon. one way or another.
jack reminded himself that he was not alone, he had his team with him.
when all else failed, he ran though simpson episodes in his head.

Five times Cam bought Sam breakfast
he got her belgian waffles after she rejoined SG-1.
he bought her pancakes and sausage when they stayed up all night talking after they had to leave daniel while he was holding off adria.
mitchell got sam her favorite bagels after she returned from that alternate reality.
he got her coffee and chocolate croissants to celebrate the defeat of the ori.
mitchell bought sam freshly made crumpets to go with some jam his mother sent the morning after she accepted his proposal.
