we've used charmin for years. fir the regular kind & then the soft when it developed the soft and strong kinds. well they went from 'double" rolls to "mega" that barely fit in the t.p. holder so it can't move when you rip off some and only get like 2 sheets. so we decided to try other brands.
the quilted northern wasn't very "quilted." my brother said maybe it was & imagine if it wasn't.
the angel soft wasn't very soft & seemed just one step above what is in your average public restroom.
the target brand, while vaguely softer than any of the above, was still on the cheap-feeling side.
so it looks like we're going back to charmin & just have to be careful when turning it the first dozen or so times.
